Living History Series Successful
video playback on the Internet depends largely on computer and
connection speeds. Performance may also be affected by network
bandwidth and congestion. A Pentium class computer with a 56kb/s
modem or better works best. Higher speed connections will facilitate
best picture quality. Very slow connections may prefer the audio
only option. You will also need the designated QuickTime or RealMedia
player applications available at the links below.
A three megabyte QuickTime file (where offered) may take up to twelve
minutes to download with a 56K modem. If you prefer to view the program
without waiting, click on the RealMedia versions. |
